Usualy, the end of the holidays is very very very sad....
We left home at 11.00 am and after a long way in car (not easy with 1 little 3 year-old boy and 1 little 6-month baby), we arrived at my parents at 8 pm.
Apparently, everything was all right.
I say "apparently" because the following day, my little boy was tired (I wasn't surprised because he didn't want to sleep in the afternoon in the car). But the
following day, he was tired and hot ! I gave him some paracetamol but at the end of fhe day, he was very very very tired and very hot (40.1°C). Of course, that was on... Sunday ! We called a
doctor and he was having a...big red angina ! Poor little boy.
Therefor during this first week of holidays, he coughed a lot (especially during the night) and during the night I was more awake than asleep...
When he felt better, my little baby caught a kind of bronchisis and at the beginnig of the second week, I was more awake than asleep during the night because of his
cough !
Th third week was better (fortunately !)
But I'm fully exhaustive and I'm looking forward the beginning of next week... My little baby and boy are going to the nursery and I'll be able to ... sleep !

A small sample of what you can see while walking the footpaths of Plassac (Gironde) ...
The ballad begins with the small
port of Plassac (at low tide, will get back at high tide) ...
A small pan (not terrible, I must admit .... be back in the corner to make prettier!) On the harbor and the estuary of the Gironde ...
Then you climb the hill to reach the Virgin of fishermen ...
... from where we have a superb view Plassac and the estuary of the Gironde ...
... and on Fort Paté ...
Of course, impossible to walk around here without seeing (and recrossing) vines ...

Remarque
This fish dish is not only delicious but also very simple to cook.
You can serve it with rice, semolina or streamed potatoes.
Enjoy your meal !

The Great Dune of Pilat (la Dune du Pilat) is the largest sand dune in Europe. It is
located in La Teste-de-Buch in the Arcachon Bay area, France, 60 km from Bordeaux.
Pilat is sometimes spelled Pyla, hence the alternative name "dune of Pyla". More accurately, Pyla is the name of the closest town, Pyla-sur-Mer, which is part of La
Teste-de-Buch municipality in the Gironde department.
The correct and original name of the Dune is the Dune of Pilat, but because of the confusion that occurred, both are now considered correct.
The dune is about 60,000,000 m³, measuring around 500m wide (from East to West) by 3km long (from North to South). Its height varies from 100 to 117 metres above sea
level.
The first pictures have been taken by my husband a couple of days ago.
